About the Role

We are seeking a Consultant to join Axcelasia Digital, a fast-growing practice at the forefront of digital and finance transformation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting or auditing, who is eager to broaden into digital transformation, project management, and AI-driven solutions.

The successful candidate will not only apply technical knowledge of finance but also gain hands-on exposure to digitalisation projects that reshape how enterprises operate.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in bookkeeping and finance operations analysis.
• Assist in audit-related tasks and reviews of finance processes.
• Take ownership of project management tasks including planning, tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Work directly with the Executive Director and Engagement Manager on client engagements, proposals, and delivery.
• Manage both high-level strategic tasks and ground-level execution with a hands-on approach.
• Engage in change management activities, helping clients adopt new digital ways of working.

Job Requirements

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Prior experience in bookkeeping, audit, or accounting functions.
• Strong understanding of finance operations.
• Interest in digital transformation and curiosity about AI applications.
• Willingness to be hands-on and manage tasks of varying scale.
• Malaysian citizen with a valid driving license.

Additional Advantageous That Will Set You Apart

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW)
• Experience in auditing or internal controls review
• Knowledge of SQL or other data tools
• Exposure to digitisation or automation projects
• Agile, Scrum Master, or other project management certification
