Position Overview

A detail-oriented, dependable, and commercially aware Senior Finance & Accounts Executive to own the full spectrum of finance and accounts operations as the company scales.This role requires a strong command of bookkeeping, AP/AR, financial reporting, and cash flow management - alongside the discipline to manage vendor payments, payroll execution, and corporate secretarial duties with accuracy and discretion. The ideal candidate is structured, self-driven, and comfortable taking ownership of financial operations in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Bookkeeping & Accounts Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries on a monthly basis.
  • Record and reconcile all financial transactions including receipts, payments, journals, and adjustments.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers, ensuring completeness and accuracy at all times.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organised and audit-ready financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards (MFRS / MPERS as relevant).
  1. Vendor Payments & Customer Invoicing
  • Process and reconcile monthly vendor payment runs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely settlement in accordance with agreed payment terms.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely manner; monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Maintain a structured filing system for all payables and receivables documentation to support audit and reporting requirements.
  1. Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and supporting schedules.
  • Produce clear and accurate financial reports for review by the Regional Operations Manager.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agents during annual audit and tax filing exercises.
  • Support the preparation of any regulatory or statutory financial submissions as required.
  1. Payroll Payment & Reconciliation
  • Execute the monthly payroll payment run based on finalised payroll data provided by the People Operations Executive.
  • Perform payroll reconciliation to ensure payment amounts are accurate, complete, and consistent with approved payroll records.
  • Maintain payment records and flag any discrepancies to the management for resolution.
  1. Cash Flow Management & Financial Planning
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly cash flow projections and monitor actual cash positions against forecasts.
  • Support the Regional Operations Manager in financial planning activities, including budget preparation, variance analysis, and scenario modelling.
  • Proactively flag cash flow risks or funding requirements to support timely and informed decision-making.
  1. Corporate Secretarial & Compliance Activities
  • Execute corporate secretarial duties related to capital raising activities, including preparation and maintenance of relevant documentation.
  • Support credit management processes, including the preparation of credit facility documentation and liaison with financial institutions as required.
  • Ensure the company remains in good standing with regulatory and statutory requirements pertaining to its corporate structure and financing arrangements.
  1. General Finance & Administrative Operations
  • Manage and continuously improve day-to-day finance and accounting administrative processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for finance-related operational matters, including banking relationships, insurance renewals, and government agency correspondence.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and project work as directed by the Regional Operations Manager.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or a similar role supporting business financial functions
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly financial reporting
  • Strong command of accounting principles with the ability to prepare management accounts and financial schedules independently
  • Experience processing vendor payments, issuing customer invoices, and performing ledger reconciliations with accuracy and consistency
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SQL Accounting, or equivalent platforms, alongside Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to handle payroll payment execution and reconciliation in coordination with HR or People Operations teams
  • Experience liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions in a professional capacity
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growing company environment with evolving processes and shifting priorities
  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive financial, payroll, and corporate information

Desired Skills

  • Exposure to multi-entity or regional finance operations across different business units
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or SQL Accounting

  • Professional certification in progress or completed (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
  • Good knowledge regarding Singapore tax knowledge
