Job Description

Job Summary:

The Technician is responsible for carrying out maintenance, inspection, and repair works for building facilities and services to ensure the property is maintained in a safe, functional, and well-maintained condition. The role also involves attending to complaints and supporting the overall operation of the building’s mechanical and electrical systems.

1) Maintenance and Repair

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair works for building facilities and property areas.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify defects related to electrical, plumbing, mechanical and general building works.
  • Ensure all building systems and facilities are operating efficiently.
  • To provide standby maintenance support during company events, responding to issues such as power failures, water leakage, and disruptions of electrical and water supply.

2) Preventive Maintenance

  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) of building equipment and systems such as Water pumps, Plumbing system, Aircon servicing & Mechanical and Electrical equipment.

3) Complaint Handling

  • Attend to maintenance complaints reported by the Management and tenants.
  • Provide timely rectification and feedback to the Management.

4) Inspection and Monitoring

  • Conduct routine inspection of building facilities and equipment.
  • Identify defects, damages, or potential safety hazards and report them to the Management.

5) Contractor Coordination

  • Assist in monitoring contractors performing maintenance or repair works.
  • Ensure contractors comply with building rules, safety procedures, and management requirements.

6) Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety procedures and building regulations.
  • Assist in handling emergency situations such as power failure, water leakage, or equipment breakdown.

7) Other duties : Perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.


Job Requirements

Min. Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance, or related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or property management.

Pro-active, enthusiastic, and self-driven with high level of integrity.

Good communication skills, organizational skills, highly motivated and result oriented.
