Role Overview

As the Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of growing our training, talent development, and tech-enabled solutions, while building a strong client engagement community. Your role is to open doors, create meaningful connections with HR and business leaders, and turn opportunities into impactful partnerships that help organizations thrive in the digital age. You will also serve as an emcee and host at AZEO’s client engagement events, showcasing our brand personality and strengthening relationships with our community.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Community Building
- Create and lead initiatives to build a strong AZEO client engagement community (executive roundtables, HR networking sessions, learning forums, and digital engagement platforms).
- Act as the emcee/host for AZEO-organized events to engage participants and strengthen brand presence.
- Position AZEO as a trusted partner in leadership development, teambuilding, workforce transformation, and tech-driven learning solutions.
- Develop long-term relationships with HR, L&D leaders, and business executives.
Business Development & Sales Pipeline
- Identify and qualify new opportunities in corporate training, talent development, and learning tech solutions.
- Build, manage, and grow a robust sales pipeline from prospecting to closure.
- Work with marketing to design campaigns that generate high-quality leads.
- Develop tailored proposals and present AZEO’s training, talent development, and tech-enabled solutions to decision-makers.
Market Expansion & Strategic Partnerships
- Explore and secure partnerships that strengthen AZEO’s reach in the HR, training, and learning technology ecosystem.
- Stay ahead of market trends in upskilling, digital learning, and workforce transformation.
- Represent AZEO at industry events, conferences, and HR networking platforms.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with internal teams (Training Solutions, Talent Development Solutions, Tech Solutions, Marketing, Client Success) to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales pipeline progress, and market insights.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or related field.
- Substantial experiences in business development, client engagement, or consultative sales—preferably in training, HR consulting, professional services, or learning technologies.
- Strong network with HR, L&D, or business leaders is an advantage.
- Tech-savvy with interest in digital learning platforms, AI/automation in L&D, and HR technology.
- Comfortable being the emcee/host at client events; excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Strategic thinker with a growth-driven mindset.
