B2B Commerce is looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data Management team. Currently, our Data Management team is handling data integration for more than 100 large FMCG companies throughout the Southeast Asia Region. The Data Management team also handles all data routing and transformation within the B2B Commerce group of companies, as well as a key data provider for our Business Intelligence cloud solution.

We develop all our applications in-house using Python, Java, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and ETL tools. The applications that we developed are used in six countries (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and China), and we constantly innovate and enhance our in-house product.

Job Responsibilities:

• To attend the weekly meetings set by the immediate supervisor
• Assist in designing, developing and implementing ETL solutions
• Develop technical specifications and design documents for ETL solutions
• Automate business processes using the ETL technology ranging from Simple to Medium Complex processes
• Participate in development of ETL flows
• Perform system testing and documentation whenever necessary
• Maintain and support project post-implementation activities
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned work
• Any other tasks which may be assigned by the Management

Job Requirements

 Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in ETL platforms and open source technologies
• Good understanding of ETL tools and technologies 
• Knowledge in Pentaho Data Integration and Selenium has an added advantage
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases
• Knowledge in Java/JSON/XML/REST/SOAP/Web Services would be an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills with good command of English and Mandarin – both written and oral
