Babymama International Sdn Bhd is looking for creative, proactive students to join us as New Media Interns.

If you enjoy creating content, editing videos and being on social media, this role will give you real experience with a live brand and real audience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be trained first, then gradually given responsibility. Typical tasks include:

Content Creation

• Assist in planning content ideas for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook
• Help with script/outline for short videos or simple talking points
• Join content shoots (products, behind the scenes, educational content, etc.)
   

Video and Creative Editing

• Edit short-form videos using basic apps/software (e.g. CapCut, VN, Canva, etc.)
• Add basic text, transitions, music and simple effects to videos
• Prepare simple thumbnails, posters or visuals for social media
   

Social Media Support

• Help schedule and post content according to the content calendar
• Monitor basic performance (views, likes, comments) and assist in simple reporting
• Support in replying to comments/messages if required (with guidance)
   

You will work closely with the team, not alone – but you are expected to take ownership of your tasks.

Job Requirements

WHO CAN APPLY

• Diploma or Degree students in Marketing, New Media, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Film, Design, Business or any related field
• Able to commit at least 3 months
• Active user of social media (especially TikTok and Instagram)
• Comfortable being behind the camera and/or in front of the camera (at least willing to try)
• Basic skills in simple video editing apps or Canva is an advantage, but not compulsory

• Are not afraid to try new ideas and experiment with content
• Can follow deadlines and complete tasks given
• Can communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English
