Your Role

As our Social Media Video Editor, you’ll transform raw footage into engaging, scroll-stopping stories designed for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — content that resonates deeply with Malaysian parents and keeps them coming back for more.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
   
• Repurpose long-form content (interviews, podcasts, documentaries) into bite-sized, high-impact clips.
   
• Collaborate with the content and talent team to craft engaging social-first narratives.
   
• Infuse videos with heart, purpose, and family values while keeping them visually dynamic.
   
• Apply platform-native techniques (trending sounds, captions, hooks) to maximize engagement.
   
• Manage a fast-paced editing workflow while meeting content calendar deadlines.
   
• Stay ahead of visual trends in parenting, wellness, and Islamic-inspired content.

Job Requirements

 Job Requirements

• Skilled in CapCut for social-first, short-form video editing (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
   
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) for advanced editing, motion graphics, and design.
   
• Comfortable with Canva (or similar tools) for quick edits, resizing, and content adaptation.
   
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and emotional engagement.
   
• Familiarity with social media trends, hooks, and platform-specific best practices.
   
• Basic knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and captions/subtitles.
   
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to adapt content to different tones and audiences.
   
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
   
• Bonus: Background in parenting, wellness, or Islamic lifestyle content creation.
