- The Deposit Manager (Corporate) is responsible for managing the corporate deposit portfolio of the bank, ensuring growth, customer satisfaction, and the implementation of strategies to attract and retain corporate clients. This role involves overseeing deposit products, optimizing deposit strategies, managing relationships with corporate clients, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Corporate Deposit Management:
- Manage the bank’s corporate deposit portfolio, including term deposits, current accounts, and other related products.
- Develop strategies to attract new corporate clients and expand existing relationships.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell deposit-related services to corporate clients.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide tailored solutions to meet the needs of corporate clients, understanding their financial requirements and advising on appropriate deposit products.
- Address and resolve any client issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Business Development:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for expanding the corporate deposit portfolio.
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Lead or assist in corporate deposit campaigns and initiatives aimed at increasing market share.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures regarding corporate deposits.
- Monitor and manage risk related to corporate deposits, ensuring that policies are adhered to and that deposits are being utilized in accordance with the bank’s risk framework.
- Regularly review and assess the bank's corporate deposit offerings to ensure competitive positioning in the market.
- Reporting and Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and report on the performance of the corporate deposit portfolio, including growth, profitability, and market trends.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management regarding deposit portfolio performance, new business development, and client feedback.
- Analyze and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of deposit strategies.
Job Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in banking, with a focus on corporate deposits, treasury, or relationship management.
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products, market trends, and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with high-value corporate clients.
- Analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies based on market analysis and data-driven insights.
