Job Description

Provides an independent assurance on the quality and effectiveness of the Bank’s Retail Banking [both Headquarter (both Business and Support Units) and branches] and its Subsidiary’s internal control, risk management systems, governance processes as well as the overall compliance with Shariah; through systematic and disciplined audit approach in accordance with the Audit Charter, Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines, and standard auditing practices promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Shariah, Fiqh or Usul Fiqh
• Minimum 0 - 3 years of experience in Shariah Audit in Islamic banking industry or any other related field. 
• Certificate for Bank Auditors (“CBA”) 

Technical Competencies

•  Usul Fiqh and Qowa'id Fiqhiyyah
• Fiqh Muqoron and Fiqh Muamalat
• Shariah Internal Auditing
