Job Description

  

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management;
  • Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping, reconciling accounts and preparing monthly financial reports;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including expense tracking and invoice processing;
  • Assist in existing investment tools and explore other investment opportunities;
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, profit & loss (P&L) reports, and cash flow statements;
  • Conduct financial analysis to provide insights on cost control, budgeting, and business performance;
  • Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning to support business decision-making;
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysia’ tax regulations (SST and statutory financial requirements);
  • Implement and manage Malaysia’s new e-invoicing requirements, ensuring compliance with LHDN regulations;
  • Prepare and submit financial reports for audits, and other regulatory obligations;
  • Work closely with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure a smooth auditing process and proper tax compliance;
  • Maintain oversight of cash flow and financial risk management;
  • Identify areas for financial process improvement and implement efficient accounting workflows;
  • Manage and maintain accounting software and financial tracking systems (Microsoft Dynamic).


Job Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or its equivalent / ACCA; 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of working experience in the related field;
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Familiarity with Malaysia tax regulations and compliance requirements;
  • Work independently with high level of accuracy and attention to details;
  • Good team player with ability to organise and manage time effectively.
