Bconnect Speech Therapy & Development Centre is a multidisciplinary centre providing speech and language therapy services for both paediatric and adult populations. We are passionate about delivering evidence-based, family-centred intervention while creating meaningful impact beyond the therapy room through community-based programs, group interventions, parent support initiatives, and professional development opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

As a Speech-Language Therapist, you will:

Clinical Services

• Conduct speech, language, communication, feeding, swallowing, voice, and fluency assessments.
• Develop individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings and client needs.
• Deliver high-quality therapy services to paediatric and/or adult clients.
• Monitor client progress and adjust intervention goals accordingly.
• Prepare professional reports, treatment summaries, and clinical documentation.

Family & Caregiver Support

• Educate and counsel parents, caregivers, and family members regarding intervention goals and strategies.
• Develop home programs to facilitate skill generalization across environments.
• Collaborate closely with families to support client progress.

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work collaboratively with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Interventionists, educators, medical professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and multidisciplinary consultations.
• Provide guidance and support to therapy assistants, interns, and junior team members when required.

Program Development

• Participate in group therapy programs, school holiday camps, community outing programs, workshops, and awareness activities.
• Contribute ideas for new services, resources, and clinical initiatives.
• Assist in developing therapy materials and clinical resources.

Professional Development

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities.
• Attend internal trainings, case reviews, workshops, and mentorship sessions.
• Stay updated with current evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech Therapy or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with clinical experience will have an added advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

• Good understanding of speech, language, communication, feeding, swallowing, and related disorders.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong documentation and report-writing abilities.
