Job Description
As a Senior Client Strategist at Be Strategic, you’ll be expected to be self-sufficient and work with your clients to identify their needs and/or challenges and recommend solutions that leverage our creative solutions and multi-platform marketing delivery teams -- all for some of the most recognized brands in the world.
We are looking for team players that must be self-driven, operating effectively with minimal oversight - yet welcome collaboration and feedback from other team members. Effective communication skills are a must, with a high emphasis on articulating ideas and expressing opinions clearly – We’re building a team here!
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years experience in public relations in an agency setting. She or he must possess a solid track record in client support, project management and campaign strategy development. The successful candidate should also possess good media relations with the ability to generate positive media coverage and excellent writing skills.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of allocated accounts in accordance to the scope of work
- Offer advise and support in the development of client campaigns and new business proposals
- Draft a broad range of written materials including press release, briefing documents, media alerts, soundbites, emcee scripts, Q&A’s, meeting reports and ensuring a consistent level of high quality documents.
- Manage and maintain communications with clients and ensure all deadlines are met
- Track and report all media activity which includes coverage reports, press clippings and online media engagement
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in an agency setting
- Thorough knowledge of the media landscape
- Excellent communicator with proven written ability in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Strategic thinking with an ability to counsel clients on pertinent topics and issues
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office particularly Office, Excel and Powerpoint
- Able to partake in presentations to clients and other external parties
- Self-motivated, independent and able to work with minimal supervision
- Team-oriented with proven job reliability
- Attention to detail, dedicated and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good presentation skills and able to command the attention of an audience
