Job Description

This is a paid internship program lasting 3 to 6 months, starting in September/October.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to support our Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement efforts. You will work closely with the Malaysia and Singapore Human Resources team to assist in enhancing employee learning opportunities, building our employer brand, supporting recruitment processes, and driving employee engagement initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and creative environment.

Key Accountabilities

Learning & Development:

  • Support the coordination and execution of training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
  • Assist in tracking training attendance and maintaining L&D records.
  • Help gather feedback from participants and prepare evaluation reports to improve learning initiatives.

Talent Acquisition Support:

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process for executive level and interns including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
  • Manage and update all job levels of applicant tracking system, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Support the preparation of recruitment reports and analysis of recruitment metrics.

Employee Engagement:

  • Assist in organizing and executing employee engagement activities and events to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Support the creation and dissemination of employee engagement surveys and analyze results.

General HR Support:

  • Assist in the coordination of training related activities.
  • Provide support for HR reporting related to recruitment and engagement metrics.
  • Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as required by the HR team.

Job Requirements

  • Fluent in English & Malay, both oral and written
  • Strong organizational, comprehension and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
