Position Overview:

We are seeking a Marketing Data Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our marketing tracking infrastructure. This role ensures reliable data flow between websites, advertising platforms, and analytics tools while improving signal quality used for advertising optimization. The role works closely with marketing, analytics, and development teams to support highnperformance advertising campaigns through accurate tracking and servernside data pipelines.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain tracking infrastructure including Meta Pixel, Facebook Conversion API (CAPI), and Server-Side Google Tag Manager (SGTM).
•  Implement event tracking and event deduplication systems between browser and server events.
•  Build and manage marketing data pipelines from website to advertising and analytics platforms.
•  Implement identity matching systems (hashed email, phone, external ID) to improve Event Match Quality (EMQ).
•  Improve signal quality used for advertising optimization through event design and signal enrichment.
•  Audit and troubleshoot tracking issues including duplicate events, missing events, and attribution discrepancies.
•  Collaborate with marketing teams to support campaign tracking and funnel performance analysis.
•  Monitor tracking health and ensure reliability of event signals used by advertising algorithms.

Job Requirements

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of marketing tracking technologies including Meta Pixel and Facebook CAPI.
•  Experience with Google Tag Manager (Web) and Server-Side Google Tag Manager.
•  Understanding of Event Match Quality (EMQ) and identity resolution techniques.
•  Proficiency in JavaScript and working with APIs and JSON payload structures.
•  Knowledge of browser cookies, firstnparty tracking, and privacy-safe tracking methods.
•  Ability to debug and troubleshoot tracking issues across advertising platforms
