Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Content Creator Intern to support content creation across multiple client accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other social channels. This is a hands-on role where you will create, shoot, edit, and publish content that drives engagement and brand awareness. You should be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Create engaging short-form videos (TikToks, Reels, Stories) using CapCut, native platform editors, or similar tools
• Design static posts, carousels, and stories using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Write captions, hooks, and copy that align with each client's brand voice
• Plan, shoot, and edit video and photo content for organic posts and campaigns

Trend Monitoring and Ideation

• Stay on top of social media trends, viral topics, and algorithm changes daily
• Identify trending sounds, formats, and challenges that can be adapted for client brands
• Brainstorm fresh content ideas during team planning sessions
• Research competitor activity and audience preferences

Social Media Support

• Assist with content scheduling and publishing across platforms
• Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement
• Track basic performance metrics (views, engagement, reach) and flag insights
• Ensure all content is posted on time and meets platform specifications

On-Camera Support

• Appear on camera for hosting, trends, or brand storytelling when needed
• Support content shoots with setup, coordination, and behind-the-scenes tasks
• Collaborate with the creative team to execute campaign concepts

Job Requirements

 Must-Have

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field
• Active user of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook with strong understanding of how each platform works
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
• Basic design skills using Canva or similar tools
• Creative, proactive, and eager to learn
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to commit to a structured internship for at least 3 months

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or After Effects
• Experience creating TikToks, Reels, or UGC-style content
• Knowledge of AI creative tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva AI, or similar)
• Understanding of social media analytics and content performance metrics
• Own TikTok or Instagram content page with active following
• Mandarin proficiency for bilingual content creation
