Job Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Web Designer Intern to support both web design and content creation across multiple client accounts. This role combines visual design for websites with social media content production, giving you exposure to the full marketing design spectrum. You will design website layouts, create marketing graphics, and produce short-form video content for social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Website Design and Layout

• Assist in designing and customising website layouts for client projects
• Create visual mockups and page designs using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
• Apply brand guidelines to website design, ensuring consistency across pages
• Design responsive layouts that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Update website content, images, banners, and promotional elements

Social Media Content Creation

• Design static posts, carousels, stories, and banners for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
• Create short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) using CapCut or similar tools
• Write captions and copy that align with each client's brand voice
• Stay updated on social media trends and identify opportunities for timely content

Marketing Visuals

• Design landing pages, ad creatives, and promotional graphics for campaigns
• Create email headers, newsletter layouts, and digital marketing collateral
• Support campaign asset production for marketplace platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop)
• Ensure all marketing visuals meet platform specifications and brand standards

WordPress and Website Support

• Assist with WordPress website updates, including page edits, plugin configuration, and styling adjustments
• Support theme customisation and layout improvements under guidance
• Help maintain website functionality and fix basic visual issues

Content Scheduling and Coordination

• Assist with content scheduling and publishing across social media platforms
• Coordinate with account managers to align visual content with campaign calendars
• Monitor basic performance metrics and flag insights on content effectiveness
• Organise and archive digital assets with clear naming conventions

Job Requirements

 Must-Have

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva
• Familiarity with UI/UX design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
• Active user of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) with understanding of content formats
• Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Nice-to-Have

• Willingness to learn WordPress (guidance will be provided)
• Experience creating TikToks, Reels, or social media content
• Understanding of social media analytics and content performance metrics
• Knowledge of AI creative tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva AI) is a plus
• Portfolio showing both design work and content creation examples
