Job Description

  • Contribute to the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
  • Assist with event logistics, including scheduling deliveries, preparing venues, arranging layouts, and positioning inventory.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to guarantee timely setup and efficient operations.
  • Oversee on-site event activities, including managing crowd movement, signage, book displays, facilities, and enhancing customer experience.
  • Offer hands-on assistance during event setup, daily functions, and disassembly phases.
  • Resolve operational issues on-site and escalate as needed.
  • Aid the Events Manager in ensuring compliance with all standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Track and manage stock movement and restocking during events.
  • Assist in the post-event wrap-up, documentation, and evaluation.
  • Provide assistance for international events as needed.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in event operations, logistics, or a related area (recent graduates with substantial internship or event experience are also welcome to apply).
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Physically capable and prepared to assist with hands-on tasks during event setup and breakdown.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by events.
  • Strong passion for books and a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the Big Bad Wolf mission.
