We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts/Admin executive to join a mortgage broking and co living company based in singapore.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting and admin tasks, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles. It also involves data entry work for updating the latest mortgage rates in the CRM and on landing pages.
Key Responsibilities:
● Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of entries.
● Maintain the general ledger by posting and verifying journal entries.
● Process accounts payable and receivable, including handling invoices and payments.
● Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
● Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances.
● Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
● Monitor and manage the payroll process.
● Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
● Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and other stakeholders as needed.
● Maintain accurate and organized financial records and files.
● General Administrative duties like updating mortgage rates
● Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● 2-4 years experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB).
● Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
● Ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
● Good communication and organizational skills.
● Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
