<p>The Biji-biji Initiative is a social enterprise that aims to share progressive ideas with everyone. We are a community of educators, designers, makers, prototypers, artists and innovators.  <br><br>Beyond Bins by Biji-biji Initiative is all about the people and planet. This campaign strives for a sustainable and circular economy by giving waste a newfound value while promoting alternative sources of income to underprivileged communities. Circular solutions comprise a big part of the new paradigm for sustainable development. With Beyond Bins, we embody the practicality of sustainability; we are excited to involve you in this movement.<br><br></p>
<p>Mereka (Biji-biji Education Arm) provides an alternative way to nurture creativity in STEAM education ingrained with principles of sustainability. We teach the skills of the future, to prepare youths and changemakers for the demands and opportunities of the 21st century. With the Mereka approach, we aim to build a talent pool that is resourceful, engaged and informed enough to take on the challenges of our common future. Me.reka Programs are often designed for and engage with marginalized and underprivileged youth.<br><br>As a pioneer in innovative education, Mereka has been recognized and engaged by various corporates, universities, and schools to develop digital platforms and to support their curriculum development and transition towards a more inclusive 21st-century future.</p>

You will be working closely with a Head of Tech, Web Developer, Product Designer, UI Designer, Business Development &amp; Sales, and Marketing team.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Job Description</strong></div><ul><li>Create vector-based art following the “Alegria” style used by tech companies such as Slack, Airtable, Spotify, Facebook, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Merge vector-based illustrations with photos, patterns and shapes to create digital collages.</li><li>Search for appropriate stock photography to incorporate into digital collages.</li><li>Create thumbnails and featured illustrations for blog articles that communicate the content concisely and accurately.</li><li>Assist the Communications department in the visualization stage of the design process.</li><li>Produce sketches of design concepts.</li><li>Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to the deadline.</li></ul>
