Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimising cybersecurity technologies across enterprise environments. You will take ownership of technical projects and client engagements, providing expert technical support throughout the solution lifecycle. The role requires strong hands-on technical capabilities, sound problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Implementation & Maintenance – Lead the deployment, configuration, integration, maintenance, and upgrades of cybersecurity technologies, including encryption and data security solutions, HSM, mobile security, CLM, identity management, authentication, and network security solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Post-Sales Technical Support – Provide ongoing technical support to clients after deployment, including troubleshooting, system health checks, configuration changes, upgrades, and issue resolution. Manage support cases and ensure timely resolution within agreed service levels.
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Incident Response – Diagnose and resolve complex technical and security issues, conduct root cause analysis, investigate security incidents, address vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate remediation measures.
  • Project & Client Management – Take ownership of assigned technical projects and client engagements from planning and implementation through testing, deployment, and handover. Work directly with clients to understand requirements, provide technical recommendations, and communicate project or support updates.
  • Technical Collaboration & Continuous Improvement – Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, vendors, and internal technical teams on solution design, proof-of-concepts, escalations, and technical issues. Research emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve security, performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Documentation, Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing – Maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, configuration records, and support reports. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing, best practices, and team capability development.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with 3-6 years of relevant experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Strong hands-on experience implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise cybersecurity solutions, including encryption, HSM, PKI, identity management, authentication, data security, mobile security, or network security.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage technical projects, and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in cybersecurity vendors, system integrators, technology distributors, or enterprise environmentsis an advantage. Ability to mentor junior engineers and willingness to travel to client sites when required. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, cloud, or vendor-specific certifications are an advantage.
