Position Overview

As a Production Supervisor, you will lead, coordinate, and optimize daily manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for managing floor personnel, ensuring seamless machine performance, maintaining strict quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to meet dynamic production targets.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Operations & Resource Management

• Production Planning: Execute the daily production schedule, ensuring optimal availability and alignment of manpower, machinery, jobs, and raw materials.
• Task Delegation: Dispatch daily assignments to subordinates; conduct specialized briefings/trainings for operators when introducing new production materials.
• Manpower Allocation: Strategically assign floor staff across production lines and machinery to maximize efficiency.
• Target Achievement: Coordinate closely with shift production teams to consistently meet or exceed daily output and cycle-time targets.

⚙️ Technical & Process Optimization

• Machine Setup: Oversee and manage precise machine parameter settings and technical changeovers.
• Process Excellence: Drive continuous optimization of production processes and resource productivity, ensuring all machinery and equipment are maintained in peak condition.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and proactively request wash-up materials when stock reaches minimum thresholds.
• Data Reporting: Track, analyze, and update the Production Planning and Control (PPC) system with daily production outputs and run rates.

🎯 Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Quality Control (QC) Alignment: Guarantee that the QC Inspector reviews and approves the first batch of materials prior to launching mass production.
• Abnormality Reporting: Swiftly identify and report any production or material abnormalities to leadership or the QC team.
• Standards Enforcement: Ensure all team members strictly adhere to Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Product Guides.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full manufacturing compliance with all safety standards, legal regulations, and specific customer requirements.

🌱 Continuous Improvement & Workplace Culture

• Workplace Improvement: Champion workplace enhancements targeting quality, output, safety, waste minimization, power consumption, and water conservation.
• Lean Initiatives: Actively participate in Small Group Activities (SGA) and Kaizen projects focused on process improvement, product quality, and cost reduction.
• Housekeeping: Enforce 5S/housekeeping standards to maintain a clean, organized, and safe production floor.
• R&D Support: Assist engineering and management teams with new product and process development.
• Adaptive Support: Execute additional operational tasks and directives from leadership as required to support business needs.
