Job Description
1. Accounts Payable (AP) Support
- Assist in processing supplier invoices and payment preparation.
- Update and verify vendor details and documentation.
- Ensure proper filing of invoices, receipts, and payment records.
2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Support
- Help prepare customer invoices and payment follow-ups.
- Record collections into accounting systems.
- Assist in reconciling sales reports, POS summaries, and bank-in slips.
3. Financial Recording & Data Entry
- Input daily transactions into the accounting system.
- Assist in preparing monthly schedules and reports.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
4. Reconciliation Tasks
- Support monthly bank reconciliation.
- Assist in checking discrepancies between physical documents and system entries.
- Cross-check sales, inventory, and petty cash reports.
5. Administrative Support
- Organise and maintain filing systems for finance documents.
- Assist the accounts team with day-to-day tasks and ad hoc projects.
- Support audit preparation (internal/external) when needed.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Good with numbers, detail-oriented, and accurate in data entry.
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
- Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to commit 3–6 months for internship.
