Job Description
The Senior Finance Executive will play a critical role in managing the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations for the group of companies. This role requires a highly hands-on individual with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to support management in financial planning as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Set Accounting & Financial Operations
- Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, journals, monthly closings).
- Manage daily accounting operations, including data entry, invoicing, payment processing, billing, and petty cash management.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist in preparing financial analysis and variance reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, SST, tax filings, and auditors' requests.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and external parties when required.
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow Management
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost analysis.
- Monitor cash flow positions, operating expenses, and financial risks.
- Support management in financial planning and strategic decision-making.
4. Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Implement and maintain internal controls, SOPs, and accounting best practices.
- Review and improve finance workflows to increase accuracy, speed, and transparency.
- Ensure documentation, filing, and record-keeping are organized and audit-ready.
5. Support for Corporate Growth Activities
- Assist in preparing financial schedules, statements, and documents required for corporate exercises and future expansion plans.
- Maintain high accuracy and integrity of financial data to support potential due diligence and business evaluation processes.
- Work closely with senior management on financial data consolidation and reporting for group-level needs.
6. Team & Cross-Department Collaboration
- Coordinate with operations, sales, HR, and project teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Support junior finance/admin staff when needed and maintain team discipline in financial workflows.
