Quantity Surveyor Executive

What You'll Be Doing

📊 Feasibility & Cost Planning

• Support feasibility studies, early-stage budgeting, and project timelines for new developments
• Handle quantity take-offs, material costing, labour estimates, and overall cost analysis
• Assist in evaluating land acquisition and development opportunities through financial insights

📑 Tender & Procurement

• Prepare tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost analysis reports
• Source, compare, and evaluate quotations from contractors and suppliers
• Be part of tender evaluations, negotiations, and contractor selection decisions

📈 Contract & Cost Control

• Review progress claims, variation orders, final accounts, and contractual claims
• Support contract management, compliance checks, and dispute/claims handling
• Ensure cost control across projects stays on track and within budget

🤝 Project Coordination

• Work closely with Development, Project, Finance, and Sales & Marketing teams
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for smooth execution
• Support project payment structuring and progress alignment

🗂️ Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain project documentation, contracts, reports, certificates, and records
• Ensure proper filing for audit, compliance, and internal reference
• Provide regular cost updates and project progress reports to management
• Ensure all procurement and contract processes follow company policies & regulations

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying
• 3+ years experience in construction / property development industry
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering & contract administration
• Able to read construction drawings & contractual documents confidently
• Comfortable with Excel (advanced level) + Microsoft Office tools
• Bonus: Experience in AutoCAD, BIM, CostX, Glodon or QS software
• Strong analytical thinking + negotiation + communication skills
• Able to communicate in English, BM & Mandarin (for supplier coordination)
