The Sales & Marketing Executive (Freight Forwarding) will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, securing new accounts, and promoting our sea/air/land freight services. As a founding member of this department, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our market presence and building long-term relationships with shippers and consignees.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify potential leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Client Acquisition: Convert prospects into active accounts by offering tailored logistics solutions (LCL, FCL, Air Freight, Customs Brokerage).
- Quotations: Prepare and present competitive freight quotations and service proposals to clients.
- CRM Management: Maintain a clean database of prospects and active accounts, tracking the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing
2. Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and industry developments to keep our services competitive.
- Promotion: Assist in creating marketing materials (company profiles, newsletters, or social media updates) to increase brand visibility.
- Customer Retention: Manage post-sales relationships to ensure high service satisfaction and secure repeat business
3. Coordination & Strategy
- Internal Liaison: Work closely with the Operations and Pricing teams to ensure service delivery matches client expectations.
- Feedback Loop: Provide regular reports on sales targets, market challenges, and customer feedback to help refine our long-term sales strategy.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sciences or related field
- CGPA: ≥ 3.00
- Minimum Bachelor Holder; CGPA: >3.00
- Posses own transport
- Excellent communication (verbal & written)
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking

- Organizational and administrative skills
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Understanding of Incoterms and shipping documentation
- 1–3 years in Sales & Marketing within freight forwarding or logistics
- Knowledge of Incoterms (Import & Export)
- Quotation preparation and rate negotiation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of market research
- Willingness to travel (long distance 1–2 times quarterly)
- Ability to manage communication across different time zones
- Flexible working hours when required
