Job Description

This role supports the sales and procurement functions by managing quotations, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining client records. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between commercial strategy and operational execution, ensuring timely responses to enquiries and smooth internal coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send freight quotations (Ocean, Air, Sea) based on provided templates and rate sheets
  • Liaise with carriers and agents to obtain competitive rates and schedules
  • Track and follow up on client enquiries and pending quotations
  • Maintain CRM or enquiry log with accurate data entry and status updates
  • Assist in uploading content to website and social networking platfrom (e.g. team photos, client testimonials)
  • Support basic procurement coordination and documentation
  • Provide general administrative support to the sales and marketing team

Job Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Sciences, Business, or a related field.
     
  • Experience: 1–3 years in freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service. Fresh graduates with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow will be considered.
     
  • Language: Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate in additional languages is an added advantage, especially for client liaison and regional coordination.
     
  • Writing: Able to draft clear and accurate messages for international communications, ensuring alignment with client requirements and operational feasibility. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in written communication for emails, proposals, and internal documentation.
     
  • Availability: Full-time, on-site in Klang.
     
  • Tech Savvy: Detail-oriented and format-conscious, with the ability to prepare well-structured documents that are clear, professional, and pleasant to read. Familiar with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools.
     
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in dealing with shipping lines, carriers, and freight agents to secure competitive rates and ensure smooth shipment coordination.
