Job Description

  • Architect and implement secure, scalable enterprise data platform solutions and security frameworks.
  • Lead the end-to-end security and compliance of bp’s unified data platform, aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Drive operational excellence by optimizing platform performance, reliability, scalability, and resilience.
  • Spearhead modernization and automation of platform services, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise IT systems.
  • Define and enforce platform governance, risk management strategies, and global security policies.
  • Develop and manage automated systems for monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and identity access management (IAM).
  • Champion the adoption of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices (e.g., AWS CDK, Azure Bicep).
  • Enhance disaster recovery and high-availability strategies across all data services.
  • Collaborate with internal technology teams and external vendors to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Mentor engineering teams, promoting innovation, skill development, and technical excellence.
  • Guide long-term platform investment strategies, including cybersecurity risk mitigation and roadmap planning.
  • Work with senior technical leaders to develop a scalable, efficient, and forward-thinking platform architecture.
  • Coordinate cross-functional priorities and deliver platform strategies that scale across bp’s global footprint.
