<p>We have rolled out innovative subscription-based residential solar nationwide, and have worked with over 50 Orang Asli communities to bring solar home systems to their off-grid villages.</p>

<p>Our vision for this role is to <strong>catalyse culture change.</strong> We don’t just want to document projects: we want to reframe narratives, challenge assumptions, and spark collective imagination. We believe stories of resilience, ingenuity, and everyday impact have the power to inspire action and build collective momentum for a just energy transition.</p>
<p>That’s why we’re looking for a Storyteller who leads with video but also writes with impact — someone who can translate community realities into stories that change hearts and minds. You’ll have space to experiment, shape our storytelling approach, and set the pace for how Bright Spots communicates its mission.</p>
<p>You’ll work closely with the Management and cross functional teams, to design and deliver stories that align with Bright Spots’ goals. This is an individual contributor role, but with scope for growth: you’ll lay the foundation of our storytelling approach today, and as Bright Spots expands, you’ll have the opportunity to become the leader of a future storytelling team.</p>
<h3>What you’ll do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead the creation of <strong>short-form video stories</strong> that showcase the resilience, ingenuity, and everyday impact of the communities we work with.</li>
<li>Write scripts, captions, and short-form narratives that amplify video storytelling and make it land across different platforms.</li>
<li>Experiment with formats, styles, and storytelling approaches to bring stories to life.</li>
<li>Design content strategies that align with organisational goals, connecting storytelling to programs, communications, advocacy, and fundraising objectives.</li>
<li>Plan and storyboard content for clarity, engagement, and impact.</li>
<li>Shoot, edit, and produce videos; write content for social media, newsletters, and other channels.</li>
<li>Organise and maintain a story bank for ongoing use and reference.</li>
<li>Track audience engagement and adjust content strategies based on analytics.</li>
<li>You’ll work directly with the management as well as cross functional teams to</li>
<li>Work out resourcing needs such as freelancers or collaborators, but retain ownership of the direction, standards, and pace of storytelling.</li>
</ul>
