Bucket List Travel & Vacations is a Malaysia-based travel company specialising in travel photography tours, unique destinations, private journeys, photography education, destination-sharing events and meaningful travel experiences.

We do more than organise tours—we use photography, videos and storytelling to capture the unforgettable moments of every journey.

If you enjoy travelling, visual storytelling and transforming raw footage into engaging content, this internship will give you hands-on experience working with real travel footage, marketing campaigns, photography workshops and company events.

Job Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other digital platforms.
• Transform raw travel footage into engaging travel stories, destination highlights, tour recaps, promotional videos, testimonials and social media reels.
• Add subtitles, music, sound effects, transitions, basic motion graphics and other visual elements.
• Perform basic colour correction, audio adjustment and video formatting.
• Resize and adapt videos into different formats, including vertical, horizontal and square content.
• Organise and manage raw footage, audio files, project files and completed video assets.
• Work closely with the Marketing, Tour Leader, Academy and Operations teams to understand each project’s objectives.
• Assist in developing storyboards, video structures and creative content ideas.
• Support photography and videography during workshops, roadshows, sharing sessions, company events and selected travel-related projects.
• Research current social media trends, video styles, hooks and storytelling techniques.
• Ensure all content follows Bucket List’s brand identity, tone and visual standards.
• Complete assigned editing projects according to agreed timelines.
• Assist with other content-production tasks when required.

工作职责

• 剪辑适合Facebook、Instagram、TikTok、YouTube及其他平台的短视频和长视频。
• 将旅游原始素材制作成目的地介绍、旅程回顾、宣传视频、客户感言及社交媒体Reels。
• 添加中英文字幕、音乐、音效、转场及基础动态效果。
• 进行基础调色、声音调整及不同平台的视频格式处理。
• 将视频调整为直式、横式及正方形等不同尺寸。
• 整理和管理原始视频、音频、工程文件及完成后的内容素材。
• 与Marketing、Tour Leader、Academy及Operations团队沟通，了解每项内容的目标。
• 协助规划Storyboard、影片结构及创意方向。
• 在摄影工作坊、Roadshow、Destination Sharing、公司活动及指定项目中协助拍摄。
• 研究社交媒体趋势、热门视频结构、开场Hook及Storytelling方式。
• 确保内容符合Bucket List的品牌形象、语气及视觉标准。
• 根据指定时间完成剪辑及修改。
• 在需要时协助其他内容制作相关工作。

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Multimedia, Film Production, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Creative Media, Broadcasting, Marketing or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in at least one video-editing platform such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut.
• Good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, music selection and audience attention.
• Familiar with social media formats, especially Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
• Basic knowledge of colour correction, audio editing, motion graphics or photography is an advantage.
• Able to understand or prepare Mandarin and English subtitles; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is an added advantage.
• Creative, responsible, organised and willing to learn.
• Able to receive feedback positively and revise work accordingly.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Minimum internship commitment of three months; four to six months is preferred.
• Applicants should provide a portfolio, showreel, social media account or sample of previous editing work.
