Job Description

Bukku is a well-funded, fast-growing software company behind one of Malaysia’s most-loved cloud accounting platforms — trusted by over 10,000 SMEs nationwide.

We’re looking for a Sales Executive (Product Specialist) to strengthen our sales efforts by managing inbound enquiries, conducting online product demos, and helping potential customers understand how Bukku can simplify their business operations.

This role is ideal for someone with both accounting knowledge and strong communication skills, who enjoys helping others and can confidently present technical solutions in a clear and relatable way.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries via calls, emails, and live chat.
  • Conduct engaging Zoom product demonstrations and address customer questions.
  • Understand Bukku’s features in-depth to match them with customer needs.
  • Identify customer pain points and demonstrate how Bukku addresses their challenges.
  • Keep track of customer feedback and provide insights to the product team for future improvements.
  • Follow up with leads and nurture prospects through the decision-making process.
  • Occasionally support outbound campaigns to reach strategic prospects or new segments.

Job Requirements

  • Accounting knowledge is a must (Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, sales, pre-sales, or customer success roles related to accounting or finance software.
  • Prior experience with cloud accounting software is a strong advantage.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly grasp software applications and digital tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Malay and Chinese languages.
  • Excellent presentation and demo skills, with confidence in handling live customer interactions.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving ability to address customer pain points effectively.
  • A proactive and self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
