About the role
As a Sales Executive at BW Scaffold Industries Sdn Bhd, your primary responsibilities will include driving sales, nurturing strong relationships within the steel industry, recognizing market opportunities, preparing quotes, negotiating agreements, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will also collaborate closely with production and logistics teams to fulfill client needs and meet sales objectives.

Responsibilities:
1. The Sales Executive (SE) will spearhead sales initiatives to meet the company’s growth objectives by expanding the current customer base and forging new relationships with potential clients.
2. Actively promote and sell company products through direct engagement with customers while developing new business opportunities within the designated territory.
3. Identify and secure new customers/distributors, market segments, and opportunities for growth.
4. Responsible for meeting quarterly sales targets as outlined.
5. Ensure that all customer accounts remain within the stipulated sales credit limits and promptly inform superiors of any discrepancies regarding customers or distributors who exceed these limits.
6. Identify potential customers and gather insights on competitor offerings.
7. Provide price quotes, prepare proposals, and relay information concerning sales terms and delivery timelines.
8. Collect data on market trends, competitor products, and pricing, reporting findings to the Head of Department.
9. Foster strong relationships with customers to guarantee satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
10. Undertake any other related tasks and responsibilities as directed by your superiors.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
1. Candidates should hold at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales is required; previous experience in the construction or scaffolding sector is beneficial.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
4. A positive attitude and self-motivation are critical.
5. Proficiency in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English; conversational Mandarin is an advantage.
6. Ability to work independently while achieving sales goals.
7. Competent in basic computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, WhatsApp, etc.).
8. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to personal transportation. 9. Prefer can speak Chinese
