Job Description

As the Executive, Credit Control and Collection at Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable and credit control processes. This full-time role is based in Glenmarie Selangor and will play a crucial part in ensuring the company's financial health and stability.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring and following up on outstanding customer payments to maintain healthy cash flow
• Liaising with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and collect overdue payments
• Preparing and sending out invoices, statements and reminders to customers
• Maintaining accurate records of customer accounts and transactions
• Identifying and addressing credit risks, and implementing appropriate credit control measures
• Collaborating with the sales and finance teams to improve credit management processes
• Generating reports and analysis to support decision-making

Job Requirements

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to handle customer interactions
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple accounts
• Proficiency in using accounting software and data analysis tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and credit management best practices
