Junior Business Analyst / Endur Support – BAU Team

We’re seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support daily operations, system monitoring, and maintenance for the Openlink Endur platform. This role involves providing user support, managing data integrity, and ensuring the smooth functioning of integrations and reporting systems. You’ll collaborate closely with business and IT teams to deliver operational excellence and continuous system improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Monitoring & Support: Oversee system health (performance, logs, batch jobs) and resolve alerts. Provide first-line support to trading, risk, and operations teams, handling issues related to deal capture, pricing, and settlements.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Manage market data uploads (curves, FX rates) and ensure accuracy in trade, position, and exposure data. Support operational, risk, and P&L report generation, ensuring consistency and reconciliation with external systems.
  • System Configuration & Updates: Maintain and update Openlink Endur configurations, apply patches, and implement system changes to accommodate new business needs (e.g., desks, products). Conduct regression testing for patches, upgrades, and new functionalities.
  • Integration & Incident Management: Monitor and troubleshoot system integrations with ERP and other external systems (e.g., accounting, market data). Work with vendors to resolve integration issues and ensure smooth data flow.
  • Compliance, Security & Documentation: Ensure system compliance with regulatory requirements and manage user access controls. Maintain up-to-date system documentation and knowledge base articles to support business teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement automation and process improvements to enhance system performance and user experience. Collaborate with business and IT teams on system optimizations.
  • Disaster Recovery & Backup: Ensure disaster recovery processes are tested and backups are in place. Maintain readiness for system outages and document recovery procedures.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Experience with Trading & Risk Management Systems: Familiarity with financial platforms such as Openlink Endur, Allegro, or similar ETRM/CTRM systems is preferred. Understanding of trading, risk, and operations workflows in energy or commodity markets is a plus.
  • Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to investigate and resolve system issues, perform data reconciliation, and troubleshoot integration problems. Strong attention to detail in identifying discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy across platforms.
  • Excellent Communication & Collaboration
  • Technical Skills in System Monitoring & Support (eg, system monitoring, incident resolution, batch job management).
