Job Description

Job Purpose and Impact

The Director of Demand & Supply Planning and IBP will lead a team of analysts to deliver accurate, data-driven forecasts for a large and complex product portfolio. This role is responsible for driving the end-to-end demand and supply planning process, ensuring alignment with financial objectives, and leading the business through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle. The position will also oversee reporting and analytics to enable strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Planning & Metrics :
    • Define, publish and monitor demand and supply planning performance target and metrics
    • Ensure planning processes are documented, standardize and continuously updated
  • Forecasting & Data Management
    • Oversee the maintenance and integrity of demand forecast data, including hierarchy management, histrorical data cleaning, demand sensing inputs and forecast models parameters
    • Drive creation of robust statistical forecasts at product line and customer levels
  • Integrated Business Planning Leadership
    • Lead the organizational through measurable outcomes of the IBP cycle, including demand reviews and alignment with financial planning
    • Develop and implement training and development plans to strengthen IBP capabilities across teams.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development
    • Build, mentor and inspire a team of experienced professionals and supervisors
    • Make strategic decisions related to talent management, including hiring, performance management and succession planning
    • Collaborate with cross functional leaders to ensure workforce planning aligns with current and future business needs
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Champion process improvement and digital tools to enhance forecast accuracy, efficiency and agility in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Seven or more years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or production planning.
  • Strong knowledge of IBP processes, statistical forecasting, and advanced planning systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in complex environments.
