Job Description

Job Purpose and Impact

The Supply Chain Intern will support day-to-day supply chain, procurement, and logistics activities while assisting in data analysis, documentation, and process improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience across the end-to-end supply chain environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and performance.

Key Accountabilities

Supply Chain Process Improvement

  • Assist in identifying inefficiencies within existing supply chain workflows and propose improvement opportunities.
  • Support process mapping, root cause analysis, and development of standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as cycle time reduction, inventory accuracy enhancement, and automation of manual tasks.
  • Collect and analyze performance data (e.g., lead time, supplier performance, order accuracy) to highlight gaps and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and proposed solutions to stakeholders.

Inventory & Logistics Support

  • Assist in tracking inventory levels and reconciling discrepancies with stakeholders.
  • Support logistics analysis, including shipment tracking, documentation, and issue resolution.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Compile and analyze supply chain data to support decision making.
  • Maintain dashboards, trackers, and reports for routine operational reviews.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems and spreadsheets.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Assist in updating SOPs, work instructions, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure supply chain activities adhere to internal controls and policy requirement
