About the Role

As a Cost Management & Contract Support at CBRE, you will play a dual role in supporting both cost management and contract administration functions. You will be responsible for producing cost estimates, managing financial data, and ensuring contractual compliance across projects and service delivery. This includes developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring financial governance, driving value for money, and managing the end-to-end procurement process to support timely and cost-effective project delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

Cost Management

• Develop, manage, and update project cost plans and Develop concept-level estimates to support feasibility studies and business cases.

• Provide cost benchmarking and value engineering input to support design and scope decisions

• Develop response to tender and project cost proposal preparation.

• Analyze and manage downstream vendor cost proposal.

• Monitor and control project expenditures, providing accurate cash flow forecasts and variance reports

• Assess and evaluate variations, change requests, and cost implications of design or scope adjustments.

• Prepare periodic cost reports and final account statements in accordance with project governance requirements.

• Advise on cost risks, maintain contingency allowances, and ensure alignment with client financial objectives.

• Prepare tender documentation, including pre-tender estimates and scopes of work.

• Manage the tendering process—issuing invitations, responding to clarifications, conducting tender evaluations, and preparing recommendation reports.

• Lead commercial evaluations and negotiations to ensure competitive and compliant contract awards.

• Support contract administration, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.

• Maintain transparent procurement records and documentation to support audit and reporting requirements.

• Generate cost reports and dashboards for senior management.


Contract Support

• Respond to client inquiries and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.

• Ensure work is executed in accordance with contract scope and terms.

• Coordinate vendor onboarding and manage subcontractor documentation.

• Review invoices, ensure accurate cost center coding, and manage billing applications.

• Support monthly reporting for Contract and Business Unit Reviews.

• Maintain QHSE documentation and support Health & Safety compliance.

• Provide financial reporting support for Accounts Receivable, Payable, and open POs.


General

• Collaborate closely with project management, design, and engineering teams to align cost and procurement strategies with project delivery goals.

• Provide cost and procurement insights during stakeholder presentations, governance reviews, and project reporting cycles.

• Uphold CBRE’s RISE values of integrity, transparency, and value-driven project delivery.


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying / Finance and Accounting with minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience will be considered.

• Strong understanding of financial and operational systems and processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Intermediate to advanced math skills (percentages, markups, discounts).

• Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.

• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings clearly.

• Experience in commercial real estate, facilities management, or related industries is an advantage.
