About the Role:

As a CBRE Drafter, you will perform technical drawings and documentation related to the facilities and infrastructure of the client premise/property. This includes architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) layouts, as-built drawings, and space planning documentation. The role supports CBRE’s facilities management team in ensuring accurate records and efficient project execution.

This job is part of the Design function. They are responsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applications to internal and external partners.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate in project planning, construction and record drawing development and management.

• Coordinate and work with project managers, engineers and vendors to provide drawing updates and ensure its accuracy and compliance.

• Understand and maintain CAD industry and company standards.

• Have a working knowledge of project drawings, P&IDs, and PFDs. This includes mechanical, electrical, architectural, spacing planning, and information systems.

• Manage the local document management system. This includes technical documentation and site master drawings.

• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. May recommend new techniques.

• Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.

• Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.

 

What You’ll Need:

• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering or related field.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drawing software

• Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in facilities or building management.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing environment

• Knowledge of local building codes and standards

• A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.

• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
