About the Role: As a CBRE Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:- Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Perform timely repairs and troubleshooting to maintain system functionality.
- Responsible in managing the financial and contractual terms of a wide variety of projects from pre-tender to post-contract stages
- Responsible for pre and post contract administration, tendering, cost planning, submit progress claim, payment claim, certification and feasibility study
- To monitor the cost control and ensure the overall budget of the projects are maintained from inception to completion
- To monitor the cost and project progress through the Project Management Progress Report / Meeting and cost monitoring system
- To identify areas for improvement in existing contracting processes
- To ensure tender documents are completed on time for tender calling and award within budget
- Conducting quantities assessment for Contract BQ, Variation Orders and final accounts
- Keep track on Contract Budgeting, progress of work done and VOs’ monthly status and related QS tasks
- Work closely with other consultants, towards accomplishing targeted deadlines and milestone
What You’ll Need: - Bachelor’s degree a related field with at least 2-3 years' experience.
- Diploma holders can be considered with 6-8 years' experience in facilities management industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint for report writing.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
