About the Role:

Financial Analyst – Record to Report (RTR) role is responsible and supports for all financial aspects of the BSO function, driving continuous improvement objectives and ensures SLA & Business KPIs, SOX Compliance are met.


What You’ll Do:

  • Performing General Ledger (GL) journal entry review to ensure it is in line with SOX requirement in accordance to journal type / nature. 
  • Verify and justify all numbers against the source documents
  • Ensure journal entry is posted accurately to the correct GL account by its nature
  • All journal to be reviewed within the agreed turnaround time
  • Support monthly or yearly SOX testing by providing all relevant documentations
  • Manage/ monitor query resolution related to journal entry
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to meet business goals.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from time to time          .


What You’ll Need:

  • Degree in Accounting / professional qualifications will be an added advantage (CA, CPA, ACCA)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Finance / SSC / Audit environment
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High level of accuracy, numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadline and longer working hours during month-end close.
  • Proficiency in English
  • A team player and able to promote teamwork among the team
  • Flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity and change
