Position Overview:
The Maintenance Planner coordinates and schedules preventive and corrective maintenance activities to optimize the efficiency and reliability of facilities and systems. This role ensures all maintenance tasks are planned, prioritized, and documented within the CMMS platform.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all critical assets.
- Coordinate corrective maintenance work orders based on priority and operational needs.
- Ensure maintenance activities are scheduled to minimize disruption to school operations.
2. Compliance and Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset registers and service records.
- Ensure scheduling aligns with OEM recommendations and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Prepare maintenance reports, trend analysis, and downtime reports for management.
3. Resource Coordination
- Coordinate manpower allocation with Senior Technicians and vendors.
- Monitor work order backlogs and adjust schedules to meet service level targets.
4. CMMS Management
- Create, update, and manage maintenance tasks and records within the CMMS.
- Generate reports from CMMS to support planning and management reviews.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance planning.
- Proficient in CMMS systems and scheduling software.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
