About the Role:
As a CBRE Senior Finance Auditor, you will act as a dedicated business partner, assisting with proactive testing to ensure adherence to the Internal Control Environment requirements. You will develop an understanding of business operations and related systems and processes, applying your SOX/SOC1/ICFR technical knowledge to help the organization achieve compliance at both the transactional and entity levels.
What You'll Do
- Liaising with management to ensure a comprehensive control system is in place which ensures that all major risks are identified and mitigated within the key client business processes
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to Internal Control Environment requirements
- Internal Control maintenance as per SOX/ SOC1 requirements, control environment monitoring and testing
- Perform the SOX/ SOC1 internal controls and process risk assessment, planning, walkthrough and testing as per agreed audit plan
- Identifying inefficiency, opportunities in streamlining processes and suggesting solutions
- Ensuring that audit procedures that are in place allow for all major risks to be identified and mitigated within the key business processes
- Reporting to the Audit Manager on activities and findings of the initiatives taken
- Reporting on the findings, providing recommendations and monitoring management's response and implementation of recommended improvements on the systems and procedures being under review
- Identifying inefficiency and ineffectiveness in processes and suggesting solutions
- Periodic tests on quality of data within financial systems
What You'll Need
- SOX/ SOC1 control testing experience is a must
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics, etc.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member
- High analytical skills and an eye for detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Capable to adapt to changing and demanding environment
- Knowledge and experience in performing operational internal audits, SOX risk assessments, financial and IT controls design and testing in an international organization
