About the Role
We are looking for a creative and motivated Interior Design Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in residential and commercial interior design projects, allowing you to work closely with experienced designers and gain practical industry exposure.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D visualisations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other relevant software.
- Support the design team in space planning, material selection, and furniture sourcing.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, specifications, and design presentations.
- Participate in site visits, measurements, and project coordination when required.
- Research design trends, materials, finishes, and suppliers.
- Assist with administrative and design-related tasks to support ongoing projects.
- Perform other duties assigned by the design team.
Job Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a Diploma or Degree program in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Fundamental understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent tools.
- A strong enthusiasm for interior design and a creative mindset.
- Effective communication and collaborative abilities.
- Meticulous, accountable, and eager to acquire new skills.
