Job Description

• Meet with clients to understand their design requirements, lifestyle needs, and project objectives. 
• Develop creative interior design concepts, space planning, mood boards, and design proposals. 
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, including layout plans, construction drawings, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, and joinery details. 
• Produce high-quality 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations using industry-standard design software. 
• Select and specify suitable materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories. 
• Coordinate closely with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle. 
• Conduct site visits, monitor project progress, and ensure design intent is implemented accurately. 
• Resolve design-related issues and provide practical solutions during construction. 
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining quality standards and client satisfaction. 
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers when required. 

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design, preferably with commercial or residential projects. 
• Strong portfolio showcasing completed interior design projects. 
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, or other relevant design software. 
• Strong knowledge of space planning, construction detailing, materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting design. 
• Excellent creativity with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 
• Good project management, coordination, and time management skills. 
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
• Able to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Experience in commercial interior fit-out and renovation projects will be an added advantage.
