Job Description

 

As Chemin continues to scale, we are strengthening our Client Solution function to support our growth and expand our partnerships with companies looking to adopt AI solutions. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive (B2B) to play a key role in identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

This role reports to the Head of Sales, who will retain responsibility for overall sales strategy, key partnerships, and commercial negotiations. Serving as a core partner to the team, you will drive day-to-day business development activities, from prospecting and outreach to managing client conversations and supporting the sales cycle. You will engage with potential clients, understand their business challenges, and position Chemin’s AI capabilities as solutions that help them grow and operate more effectively.

Lead Generation & Market Research

  • Identify and source potential clients through research, platforms, and outbound channels
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria and business needs
  • Maintain and update lead databases and CRM systems
  • Support the BD team with market insights and competitor analysis

Sales & Client Support

  • Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and sales materials
  • Coordinate meetings, demos, and follow-ups with prospective clients
  • Act as an initial point of contact for inbound and outbound leads
  • Support handover of qualified leads to Client Solutions or Sales teams

Pipeline & Reporting

  • Track lead progress and sales pipeline updates
  • Prepare regular reports on lead generation performance and conversion rates
  • Ensure accurate documentation and data hygiene in systems

Job Requirements

 

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in business development, sales support, or lead generation (tech or B2B environment preferred)
  • Strong research, organisation, and communication skills
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and relationship building
  • Ability to work independently in a lean, collaborative environment
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
