As a Planning Engineer you will be the Builder: design and scale robust scheduling systems and templates that keep multi-site projects on track and ready for handover.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Project Planning

• Create and maintain detailed baseline and rolling schedules for construction packages using Primavera P6 or MS Project, aligning timelines with project milestones and resource plans.
• Develop resource-loaded workplans and activity breakdowns that translate design and procurement inputs into achievable site sequences.

Schedule Control & Reporting

• Track progress, update forecasts, and perform critical path and delay analyses to quantify impacts and recommend recovery options.
• Produce clear weekly and monthly planning reports and dashboards for project leadership and stakeholders.

Coordination & Risk Management

• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and commercial teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and manage change events.
• Identify schedule risks, propose mitigation measures, and support contract claim substantiation when needed.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of planning experience on construction projects, preferably in building, civil, or infrastructure works.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Proven hands-on use of Primavera P6 and MS Project for schedule development and control.
• Strong command of CPM methodology, resource loading, progress measurement, and delay analysis techniques.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience producing planning reports and dashboards; familiarity with BIM coordination is an advantage.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear communicator who can present schedule status and recovery plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under site pressures while keeping schedules realistic and practical.
