Job Description

We are hiring a Technical Engineer for the IOI City Mall Phase 3 building construction project.

• Review construction drawings, specifications and technical documents. 
• Coordinate civil, structural, architectural and M&E drawings and identify discrepancies. 
• Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, technical submissions and material submissions. 
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical and construction issues. 
• Provide technical support to the site team during construction. 
• Review construction methods and propose practical technical solutions. 
• Attend technical coordination meetings and follow up on outstanding technical matters. 
• Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. 
• Assist in design coordination, drawing revisions and technical documentation. 

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building construction projects. Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, shopping mall or mixed-use developments is preferred.

Familiar with construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, technical submissions and material submissions.

Good knowledge of civil, structural and architectural construction works.

Proficient in AutoCAD. BIM/Revit experience will be an advantage.

Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, designers and site teams to resolve technical issues.

Experience working with a main contractor is preferred.

Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Able to work at the IOI City Mall Phase 3 project site, Putrajaya.

Candidates with experience mainly in IT, software, telecommunications, electronics, technical support or manufacturing will not be considered.
