Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervising construction works and ensure building works are completed on time, within budget and conform to good quality standard, construction drawings and contract documents.
• Monitor work progress, and identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on the job site.
• Assist in planning and scheduling work activities to optimize efficiency, and participate in site management meetings.   
• Check drawings discrepency and coordinate all contruction drawings.
• Liasing with sub-cons for timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintaining requisite quality standards as per client's requirement.
• Involving in testing, commissioning activities, handling over of the job and establishing warranty dates.
• Assist MR and ISO team in developing, implementing and maintaining of QMS.
• Enforce company's safety procedures and policies at project/construction sites. Ensure that employees and sub-contractor's workers adhere to the safety plan and procedures.
• Issue Corrective and Preventive Actions to employees / sub-contractor's workers for continual improvement and carry out any disposition made by the Management.
• To check materials upon delivery on site.
• Coordinate the maintenance and defect rectification works.
• Any others duties as assigned by the immediate Superior and/or MD. 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience with a main contractor on high rise projects, and exposure to building, road, and drainage works.
•  Candidate must possess at least SPM level or equivalent.
• Advanced in C&S and architecture drawing (reading and understanding).
• Able to manage construction sequencing.
• Possess strong project coordination and management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and team members.
• Must be able to work after office hours and on public holidays when required. 
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
