Job Summary

• The Waiter / Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining cleanliness and service standards within the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain menu items when required.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards.
• Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience and address requests promptly.

Operations

• Prepare tables before service and ensure dining areas are clean and organized.
• Clear and reset tables after guests leave.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of dining and service areas.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

Cash Handling

• Process customer payments accurately when required.
• Handle cash and POS transactions in accordance with company procedures.

Health & Safety

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ensure personal grooming and appearance meet company standards.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Previous experience in F&B or customer service is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods and carry food trays when necessary.
