Job Description

The Accounts Executive plays a key role in the financial management of the organization by supporting day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial records, supports strategic planning, and assists in maintaining the company’s fiscal health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations including receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management review.
  • Ensure accurate recording of sales transactions, monitoring discrepancies and investigating anomalies.
  • Monitor daily cash expenses, ensuring that all transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Help track and report company cash flow, including the management of petty cash and other minor operational expenditures.
  • Maintain the supplier ledger, ensuring that all invoices and supplier-related transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and payments, adhering to payment terms.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and aging reports.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including SST and corporate tax (as applicable).
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Contribute to financial analysis to support business decisions and cost-saving initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an advantage.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in F&B or hospitality accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (Eg. TallyPrime and SQL)
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant finance operations, including sales reconciliation, and vendor management.
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
