Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to support the kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage an assigned kitchen section efficiently. Experience in Cold Kitchen operations is preferred, including the preparation of salads, appetizers, cold platters and dressings.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Prepare, cook, and present food according to established recipes and qualitystandards.
  •  Manage daily operations of the assigned kitchen section, with the ability to support orlead the Cold Kitchen section when required.
  •  Prepare and present cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, sandwiches, canapés,cold platters, and dressings.
  •  Ensure all mise en place is completed accurately and efficiently before service.
  •  Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation.
  •  Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control, ordering and receiving of goods.
  •  Ensure proper food storage, labeling, stock rotation (FIFO) and temperature control.
  •  Adhere to food safety and hygiene at all times.
  •  Train and supervise Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
  •  Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth and timely service.
  •  Minimize food waste and contribute to cost-control initiatives.
  •  Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment and storage areas.
  •  Assist in menu development and the creation of new dishes when required.

Job Requirements

Experience :

▪ Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.

▪ Strong knowledge of authentic and modern Indian cuisine.

▪ Experience in Cold Kitchen is an advantage and highly preferred.

▪ Culinary degree, diploma, or equivalent professional training preferred.

▪ Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
